Physicians
At New Vision Hospice, our hospice physicians play a crucial role in ensuring patients receive expert, compassionate care tailored to their needs. Our physicians specialize in end-of-life care, focusing on comfort, symptom management, and overall well-being while respecting the wishes and goals of each patient and their family.
The Role of Hospice Physicians:
✔ Comprehensive Care Planning – Developing and overseeing a personalized care plan in collaboration with the hospice team.
✔ Pain & Symptom Management – Adjusting medications and treatments to relieve pain, shortness of breath, nausea, anxiety, and other symptoms.
✔ Coordination with the Care Team – Working closely with nurses, social workers, spiritual counselors, and CHHAs to ensure holistic support.
✔ Guidance & Communication – Keeping families informed about the patient’s condition, care options, and changes in health.
✔ Support for Goals of Care – Respecting patient preferences, whether for comfort-focused treatment, spiritual support, or quality-of-life enhancements.
Our hospice physicians are available for consultations, home visits, and ongoing care adjustments, ensuring that patients receive the most compassionate and appropriate medical support during this journey.
